Recycling Twist Tops- Now you Can!! May 16, 2009

I have found that many people to not know that the twist tops (for example-on most plastic drink bottles) can NOT go into the recycling with their bottles. These rigid plastic tops can also cause problems, slowdowns and waste within recycling facilities.

What can you?
1. remove them before you recycle and at minimum throw them away with the regular trash
OR
2. save them and take to an AVEDA salon

Celiac Walk May 16, 2009

Well this morning is the annual Celiac Walk and it is currently 38 degrees (but smiles it feels like 28).
I am pulling out my winter hat and mittens as the kids and I prepare for our 5K journey.

I am excited for the kids. They have never done more than a 1K fun run so today will be a nice challenge for them.

It sure is great when the whole family supports your life change!
