Michelle Obama and foodmakers March 17, 2010
As a mom, how can you not agree with all Michelle Obama is saying about our kids and their health. Childhood obesity is on the rise. Eating gluten free can be healthy but there are also lots of new fun and yummy treats now available. Balance balance balance is what I say (I may not always do personally but I try hard with the kids).
Healthy kids make for a healthier envirnment too if you ask me. More food from the earth is eaten, less processed food are eaten, less packaging is needed for the food and the list could go on and on and on.

French Meadow Bakery Multigrain Bread March 14, 2010
I would give this bread an ok rating. I am just in love with Udi so it is hard for me to like anything else at this point.
However, I will keep trying new breads when I find them.
Running your dishwasher March 13, 2010
Did you know ‘they’ say you use 6 times more water when you hand-wash your dishes instead of using the dishwasher!
Three Rivers Park District wants to stop selling plastic bottled drinks!! March 13, 2010
Amazing, wouldn’t you think the kind of people who use the park system would be concerned about recycling and the earth.
Well, Three Rivers determined that only 25% of the bottles sold were recycled. I am betting that number is even lower as some people may have brought their own bottles into the park too.
Well I want to congratute Three Rivers for proposing to no longer sell plastic bottles!

Gluten Free Matzo recipe from Cooqi March 11, 2010
My best friend growing up is jewish. I loved going over to her house during passover and eating matzo. Actually, looking back matzo tasted like an early form of gluten free bread that I had. I think I love the memory of matzo a whole lot more than I love the tast of matza.
Sounds like Cooqi isn’t going to make anyone but they were willing to share the recipe they like.
Udi Cranberry and Walnut yogurt March 10, 2010
I took this cereal/granola up north for girls weekend breakfast. Overall consensus was good. I like the nutty mixed with the chewy cranberries.
